Bathurst in South Africa is pineapple country!.!.!.there is pineapple beer (which i have never had but it is fav amounst the locals) and there is a delish pineapple jelly (not jam) that is easy to make:
make your pineapple jelly (1 cup hot & 1 cup cold water to your jelly powder & mix)
grate pineapple & add it to the jelly, then let it set in the fridge & serve with ice-cream!.!.!.yum yum !Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut in half length through the green spiky leaves tool, cut out all the fruit leaving just a shell!. Chop that into bite size bits, chop up other fresh fruit like strawberries Cherry's for colour and apple, anything!. Then using the skin as the dish, pile all the chopped fruit back in to the shell then you have a fresh fruit salad!. PS!. Don't forget the double cream though!.

Gammon or ham with a pineapple salsa!.
Mix the pineapple pieces with chopped spring onions, fresh chili, lime juice and juice from the pineapple and a little sugar!.
