If it does have elk blood in it, I'm sure that's far from the worst thing they put in it!.
Jagermeister is a German medicine that some slick marketing guru somehow made the youth of America believe that it actually tastes good!. Don't believe me!?!? Click my links below!.
I've bartended in the Florida Keys for the last 20 years, and we get a lot of German tourists coming through!. Jagermeister is also from Germany!. The German tourists are frickin' stone-cold stunned and baffled at the popularity of Jagermeister in the US!. They simply cannot believe that we, the 'stupid americaners', actually drink the stuff FOR PLEASURE!. Jagermeister is medicine to them, and nothing else!. Jagermeister is literally something that they would go and buy off of a drugstore shelf for when they are sick, like and herbal cough remedy!. THEY keep their Jagermeister in their medicine cabinets, not behind their bars nor in their saloons!. It would be like us suddenly discovering that the Germans are buying vats and vats of Vick's Formula 44-D to enjoy in their bars by shooting it straight or mixing it into some kinda weird shooter made with Bed Bull, or us discovering that they were crazy about a cocktail whose main ingredient is Pepto-Bismol!. All Jagermeister popularity boils down to is a very slick marketing trick!. Here's another freaky thing, Germans also use it for insect control, by baiting insect traps because flies and wasps and hornets are drawn to it, drink it, and die from alcohol poisoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
