If you like the Jack Daniels line!.!.!.Gentleman Jack (about $27 US per 750ml bottle) is a step up in the snifter to regular Jack!.!.!.and Jack Daniels Single Barrel (about $50 per 750ml bottle) is much nicer than the Gentleman!.!.!.there is no burn going down and the faint tones of hickory please me!.
If you prefer Irish, Glennfidich is nice, especially the aged versions!. Jamison also offers different versions, the 18yr old is nice ($75 US per 750ml bottle)!.
If you really want top shelf, Bushmills single malt (21yrs old) is amazing and relatively orgasmic!. It averages $100 USD per 750ml bottle!.!.!.but it's well worth it!.
Stay away from Wild Turkey!.!.gawd, that's like draino (no seriously the guy suggesting that was trying to kill you!.!.!.it's only acceptable at college keggers)!.!.!.and with all the hype Crown Royal might sound like it's good!.!.!.but for me it only merits being added to coffee otherwise ewww!. LOL!.
Hope that helps! *cheers*Www@FoodAQ@Com

Osmei is right Gentleman Jack is a definite step up from black label!.
I prefer small-batch bourbon, that is straight Kentucky whiskey!. Blanton's is one of my faves but also a little bit pricey!. On a more casual occasion my default would have to be Maker's Mark!.
Notable Mentions:
Basil Hadens
Baker's
Booker's
Knob Creek
Rowan's Creek
Buffalo TraceWww@FoodAQ@Com

wild turkey is for middle schoolers and bums on the corner when they have a good day, it's is also an acceptable substitute for bleach!. any of the macallan single malts are amazing, the 12 y!.o!. is perfect for just about anything!. i also love highland park, glengoyne, and the glenlivet!. any of the small-batch bourbons are good as well!. try to stay away from the big name producers, except for single malts!. there you have to just try each one and figure out which ones you like!. it's hard work, but someone's got to do it ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com
There's a small distillery in Kentucky that produces a top flight bourbon called Buffalo Trace!. Try it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
