Well I ain't a big Rum fan but my son in law bought a bottle of Bacardi Superior!. I drink everyday but I gotta tell ya I had 2 shots of that stuff and was wobbly kneed!. I felt spacey, and got the jitters!. That stuff was smoother than Silver Label Smirnoff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A word on Capt Morgan: Capt Morgan is the Kool-Aid of rum!. I can't even believe they call it rum!. Just another example of how effective a massive marketing machine is at bamboozling America's misguided and media-impressionable youth, kind of like with Jagermeister!.
I've seen Sailor Jerry's, but never tried!. Next time I run across, I'll score one!.!.!.or you can just mail me a bottle!.
Added--So, I just found out at my local liquor store that Sailor Jerry's is a 'spiced rum'!. I hate snobs, and I hate to be one, but like my rant on Capt Morgan above, IT IS NOT REAL RUM!. It is a sweetened concoction designed for kids that just gave up their Jolly Rancher's candy!. Pleeze oh pleeze, stick to real rum, even if it's only Bacardi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To tell the truth I enjoy Bacardi Silver!. Whether it's a bacardi cocktail or bacardi and coke it delivers an unadulterated taste to any cocktail including long island's that works just fine!. Cheers!Www@FoodAQ@Com
