Didn't you ask this before!?

Jesus, you won't be 1% more drunk that's just absurd!.

There's 8% more alcohol in a 13!.5% wine that a 12!.5% wine!. Go ahead, try to argue!. Here's why!. In a 750mL bottle, you have 101!.25mL alcohol (13!.5%ABV) or 93!.75mL alcohol (12!.5%ABV)!. So, there's 7!.5mL more alcohol in a 13!.5% wine than a 12!.5% wine!. Compared to the 12!.5% wine, which give you 93!.75mL alcohol this is 8% more alcohol (7!.5 / 93!.75 = 0!.08)!. For those of you less sure that it should be 1% more drunk, you probably noticed that 13!.5 / 12!.5 = 1!.08 = 8% more alcohol!. And, of course, it does not matter what size the bottle is, you could have a bottle of size V, and you'd realize this argument boils down to 13!.5 / 12!.5!.

So, a 13!.5% bottle of wine will get you 8% more drunk than a 12!.5% bottle of wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hrothgar i'm not exactly argueing but whats the difference in units!?

in one litre of each the difference is only one unit of alcohol, so it will get you one unit more drunk

in a standard bottle of 750ml the units of 12!.5 is 9!.38, the 13!.5 s 10!.1 so its about 0!.7 units more, not much is it but it can make a big differenceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. 13!.5 gives me a hangover!. 12!.5 doesn't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dont think so, if ur drunk, ur drunk, it doesnt change a thing, ur still drunkWww@FoodAQ@Com
