Are we talking about wine or beer!?
If we're talking about beer you'll be fine!. Are you talking about the sediment that is there when first racking or when moving from the primary to the secondary!?
Either way you should be fine!. Letting beer sit on the cold and hot break after cooling the wort will be fine, but it can create some off flavors if left for a long time!.
A lot of good brewers don't even bother racking to a secondary fermenter as the benefits of getting the beer off the yeast that has fallen out doesn't outweigh oxidizing the beer in the move!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will be potable but not at its best!. That is not the beer you want to enter in a homebrew competition!. If you like, you can rack it carefully back into the primary, let it sit for a day, and then rack it into the carboy again!. If you are careful, you should not aerate the wort in the process and all will be well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
