It is my belief that first and foremost, we should align our legal system with the drinking age and stop being such a hypocritical society!. If you are an legal "adult" at 18 years old, then why are you not mature enough to drink!? I was legal when I was 18 and frankly, I got all the "drink til I puke" out of my system right away!. By the time I was 19 and a half, I was drinking fairly responsibly!. I am a believer that the drinking age should be 19 due to people being in College and if you are living on your own, you should be able to perform ALL the decisions in your life!. Not every one EXCEPT drinking!.
But the age old question is: If you can die for your country, own a business, pay taxes, serve time for a crime and own your own home, why on earth can't you have a beer!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not about age really, its about how mature your body is!.

I think 18 should be the legal age for stuff like beer, Smirnoff Ice, Kahlua, etc!. But harder liquor should be kept at 21:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
