I'd recommend that you pick up a bottle of Prosecco!. It's an Italian, sparkling wine!. True Prosecco is maid in the Veneto region of Italy and is very dry, but the stuff that is exported to North America is "off-dry" and has some residual sugar!. The nice thing about Prosecco is that it is made by traditional means (natural carbonation, racking etc!.) but doesn't carry the high price of authentic champagne!. I don't know where you live, so I don't know if this is available to you or not, but a second recommendation would be: Peller Estates Ice Cuvee!. It's a Canadian Sparkling that is made by traditional method, and is blended with some ice wine which gives it extra sweetness and a more intense, fruit flavor!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just get an Asti Spumante, any variety will do, and can be found in any grocery store!. Most traditional champagnes are pretty dry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
