How to persuade my friends to drink good beer?!
well, my friends regularly throw a kickback, but their beer choice is based on commercial and overpriced beer!. I cant keep drinking coronas people! the beer just isnt good, unless you wanna go for that bland bitter taste!. Im tellin em to get dos equis instead if they want a mexican beer!. Sometimes they throw in a Heineken, which aint bad, but they dont explore! dont you agree they should try some good german beers like becks, or a danish beer like Carlsberg ( i want one now) or any dark english ales!? stay away form the coronas the commercials dont make them taste any better!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is exactly the same for one of my group of friends!. Their definition of beer drinking means Bud light, Heineken Light, Miller Lite and Pabst!. But assuming that they don't enjoy beer and just drink them to get drunk, I don't blame them!. Might as well save $ with the cheap beer and not waste the good beer to get wasted!. My other friends usually try various types of imported or local beers!. I found most of my favorites there!. I thought Heneikens and Corona are pretty decent!. I don't know about a Dos Equis being a good beer!. I thought it tasted pretty bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well get them to start drinking heineken then work up to the better beers!. if i give someone a beer like chimay blue grande reserve and they drink corona they wont like it!. so try carlsberg and then work your way up but just say lets get this kind of beer what are they gonna say!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You put Dos Equis, Becks and Carlsberg in the good beer category!? I think you should explore some more!. None of those are as horrible as Corona or Heineken, but they're also nowhere near good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're pissing in the wind, my friend!. Most people only do what the teevee tells them to do!. Look at the fact that Budweiser sells more than all other beers combined (I think) and yet tastes like watered-down horse piss!. Corona with lime isn't bad--I like it in the summer!. It's a good lightweight beer!. Without the lime, though, it's more horse piss!.
You also need to broaden your horizons as far as good beer is concerned!. Check out Brooklyn Lager, Blue Moon, Bass Ale, Harp Lager, and I'll second the above poster's recommendation of IPA's!. They're sweet, fruity, and high alcohol!.

Bells, Founders, New Holland, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Stone, Russian River, AleSmith, Lost Abbey, Goose Island, Struise, Mikkeller, Gouden Carolus, Chimay, Westmalle, Rochefort, Orval, Koningshoeven, Ommegang, Unibroue, Three Floyds, Southern Tier, Great Divide, Cantillon, St!. Bernardus, Hair of the Dog!.
Or look for any of the following styles: Imperial stout, Double IPA, belgian strong ale, doppelbock, porter, trappist, barleywines, sour ales, belgian doubles/triples/quadruples, weizens, english strong ale, old ale!.
Remember that anything with "imperial" in the name typically means it has a lot more alcohol, so in the end you're not spending that much more to get a buzz!. I can drink $8 worth of Busch Light or $8 worth of an imperial stout and I'm the same amount of drunk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
