Does beer lose its good taste when?!

Question: Does beer lose its good taste when!?
I was told that sometimes beer loses its good taste (store bought) when you take it from a cold fridge and allow to get warm and then only to chill it again when you get home from the market!. This same person told me its best to buy beer warm that way its not chilled and warmed up too many times because it loses its good taste!. It almost sounds true, for example Ive had the Dos XX amber other places in glass and it tasted great!. My friend brought over an opened box of them last week from his house to mine and for some reason it tasted very metaly and alcoholish, is there any reason why the beer would taste this way!? other than what I described as to be the reason why!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes the flavour can get wrecked from repeated temperature changes!. That's part of the reason kegged beer tastes better!. The distributors do their best to keep the temperature constant because a kegs have a short shelf life!. And because it's a large container it take a long time for the temperature to change so if it gets shipped from the distribution to the bar in a regular truck the temperature doe not change much!. Plus beer taste better out of a glass because you can smell it properly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beer is canned ice cold, shipped at room temp, either refrigerated or not in the store!.

Tell your friend to get a life!.

One thing about beer, it does not get better with age!. It's the best it's ever going to get when canned!. It's all down hill from there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
