Is it true Vodka is odorless?!

Question: Is it true Vodka is odorless!?
Is this a myth, somebody told me Vodka is difficult to detect if you have been drinking!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
All vodka has an odour but the odour depends on the grain it's made from!.
Vodka is commonly made from wheat as it is a cheap product and has a high yield but all vodkas are made differently!. Smirnoff red is made from anything as it is made all over the world and they use the cheapest local product, there is little smell to smirnoff red except alcohol!. Ciroc is a french vodka made from grapes so it has a slight vermouth style smell!. Lugosowa is made from potatoes so is expensive and creamy, potatoes have a very small yield so little vodka is made from potatoes!. Belvedere is made from Rye so has a sharper taste and smell!.
So in conclusion all vodkas have a different odour but generally only a Connoisseur would be able to differentiate them through odour alone
Hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com

You can smell it for sure!. Cheap stuff has a strong ethanol smell, where as the good stuff will produce all types of aromas - most decidedly the alcohol!.
Vodka made from apples!? Ridiculous!.
Typically it is made from potatoes or wheat, although there are other types (ie Ciroc - made from grapes)!.
You can definitely "detect it" when drinking vodka!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is difficult to detect, but it's not completely odorless!. You probably won't smell it on someone's breath, though!.

To Queen Bee:
Vodka is made from potatoes, not apples!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on the flavor!. A cherry flavoured vodka will smell of cherry!. A non-flavoured expensive vodka should be odorless!. An inexpensive vodka will have a flavour similar to some fossil fuels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't say it's completely odourless, but pretty darn close!. If you've had a lot of it to drink it can be detected!. However, for the most part it's a pretty true statement!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It smells slightly like apple because it's made of apple!.
The smell is not strong at all!.
The best taste of Vodka is Moskovskaya!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
