Question: Is it true that gin is more toxic to the liver than other kinds of booze!?
Answers:
Not true with the methods used in Great Britain or the United States today, but at the turn of the century they used copper with lead and other heavy metals to distill it!. The heavy Metal poisoning added to the lethality of the booze!. Absinthe is considered more dangerous, and is only legal in Spain because of its mild Hallucinogenic effects!. Someone made the mistake of saying that Gin was Vodka with Juniper Berry's added for flavor !.!.!. Vodka is made of potatoes Gin out of grain !.!.!. wheat mostly!. A lot of the informationn and rumors about booze is a holdover from the prohibition teetotalers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

"Gin" is just vodka, flavored with Juniper berries!. It's actually no more toxic than plain vodka!.

Tonic water has a bit of quinine which is a a drug that used to be used to treat malaria!. You would need to drink a ton to mess up your liver!. The alcohol would probably kill you first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

alcohol of the less refined kind (more often than not, cheaper) needs to be refined by your liver!. don't drink cheap booze!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yep!. And Marlboro Reds are more toxic to the lungs than Marlboro Lights!. I ain't gonna stop smoking Reds, though!. =)Www@FoodAQ@Com
