Answers:
Beer and whiskey are both made from mash!. Mash consists of malted (partially sprouted and dried) barley or wheat, and possibly other, non-malted grains!. This is soaked in hot water to allow enzymes from the malt to convert starches to sugars!.
Wort is the liquid that is drained from the mash!. It contains dissolved fermentable sugars, along with other compounds extracted from the mash!. It is then boiled to reduce the amount of water and concentrate the sugars!. If beer is being made, hops are added during the boil!. It is then cooled and fermented!. After fermentation, beer is filtered and bottled!. For whiskey, it goes on to be distilled to concentrate the alcohol!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wort is the unfermented material from which you make beer!. It is mostly water, with the addition addition of barley extracts, hop extracts, and, after it has cooled to a safe level, yeast!. There are brewers that add other things to wort!. Some of those additions improve the beer, some do not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
