Why are flavored liquors cheaper than the plain ones?!

Question: Why are flavored liquors cheaper than the plain ones!?
For instance lime Jose Cuervo is cheaper than the standard Cuervo!. Strawberry Smirnoff is cheaper than regular Smirnoff!. Why is this!? You would think that the specialty flavors would be more expensive!. And the alcohol content is the same!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The alcohol content is normally NOT the same!.

The flavoured ones are normally weaker as the flavourings have to replace some of the spirit!.

As the flavourings are cheaper, due to normally being and artificial (rather than the real thing), to produce than the actual spirit they replace this is why the end product is cheaper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because only kids drink the nasty flavored drinks!. it's a matter of supply & demand!. Children drink less alcohol than adults, so the price of children's drinks is lower!. More demand for the real liquor, rasie the price!. It's just like gas!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Flavored drinks suckWww@FoodAQ@Com

Flavored liquor starts out as a neutral spirit with a small amount of strong Joe crow and some sweetened strawberry syrup but true to flavor liquors are a rarity and costly to produce!. Just a guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cause they suckWww@FoodAQ@Com
