Depends. Older wine does not always mean a better wine. You need to smell the wine to see if it has soured. Also, if you can, hold the bottle up to a light and look through the bottle to see if anything is floating around in there. If there is, it would probably be best (and safest) to just pour it out. Its not worth risking your health over.

It's safe, but it may not taste very good, depending on how you took care of the bottle. You didn't say what type, red or white, where was it stored, such as on it's side in a cool dark place, etc. Most wine these days is meant to be drunk immediately.
They're both drinkable, wine is often aged 'to perfection' or just to taste better

Oldest drinks are the best, I drank a wine bottle that was made in the 1880s that my great grandfather still had.
The older the wine, the better. It gives it time to age.
