Question: What does the scanner say when liquor stores scan id's?

Lets say someone under 21 walked into a liquor store to buy beer. The guy at the counter checks the id but misreads it thinking the person was over 21. Now he decides to scan the id, what pops up on the scanner? Does it say something like "this person is under 21" Or does it just say real id?

wait til you're 21 and have a legit id and you won't have to worry about that
