Why is alcohol taste too sweet when i drink it?!

Question: Why is alcohol taste too sweet when i drink it?
I'm 24 and go out once a week to drink. Lately, after two drinks and a shot or two, I can't drink anymore because the taste and thought of it being too sweet makes me nauseous. I usually order vodka or rum and use sprite as a mixer. If we take shots they're always mixed as well.
Is there something I can do to avoid the sweet factor that cuts my drinking short?

Congratulations- you're a grownup!

Now you can start drinking real cocktails, like your parents and grandparents drank.

I recommend trying a martini next time around, but be careful, grownup drinks will kick your *ss if you drink them like the kandy-kolored kiddie kocktails you may be used to.

Good luck and enjoy.

You obviously have skin diabetes. If it is not treated, you will die slowly and painfully. There is a cure, but it is expensive and illegal everywhere but Puerto Rico.

Do not concentrate on what you are drinking; so that you can consume more.

nil

Of course vodka is an option

take the sprite away.
