Well, vomit and yellow vomit are quite similar to a large extent. The only difference is that the yellow vomit occurs on an empty stomach. Actually an acidic substance called bile is released from the intestine which is helpful in digestion of food. So when the stomach is empty, the released bile comes out of the body in the form of vomit. If a child has diarrhea or vomits frequently then probably she would be going through gastrointestinal disorder which can be also mentioned as stomach flu. In such case also occurs yellow vomit. Not only this, excessive production of bile in the system also results in yellow vomit. It is actually a disorder or de-arrangement of the liver. Sometimes it can be chronic which is again associated with problems like migraine and headache. Some of the causes of yellow vomit are mentioned below: Medications: - high dose or wrong usage of medicines also leads to yellow vomit. During pregnancy: - due to morning sickness in pregnancy women become prone to yellow vomit (Oh!!). Alcoholism: - excessive intake of alcohol is also an important factor in yellow vomiting. Gallbladder removal: - removal of gall bladder from the human body can also lead to weight loss, nausea, headaches and last but not the least yellow vomit.
You should learn an important lesson from this experience, learn to drink in a way that you don't vomit yellow ****.

the yellow stuff was bile, yes you had a case of alcohol poisoning. When you poison your self it is the body's natural reaction to vomit. to reduce the amount of poison in your system. Much like your bodies pharyngeal reflex when you try to eat something putred you gag.

let me guess the next day every time you tried to eat something or drink even water you threw up. This is your bodies way of trying to work the poison out of your system, you had nothing in your stomach and your body would not allow anything else to enter.

you got lucky, I actually had to visit the doctor when I was younger, I was in the same condition that you described, except mine lasted long enough that it severely affected my health. I was placed on a IV and observed for two days.

here are some of the signs that you might have alcohol poisoning

* Absent reflexes
* Slurred speech
* No withdrawal from painful stimuli (for instance from pinching)
* Confusion
* Difficulty awakening the person
* Erratic behavior
* Seizures
* Feeling very ill including long, drawn-out vomiting
* Slow, shallow, or irregular breathing
* Blue-tinged skin or pale skin
* Inability to make eye contact or sustain a conversation
* Unconsciousness (passing out)

You should be fine if you are up and walking around now, just watch your consumption next time. We all watched a friend die and the other was charged for over serving.

Yeah that's alcohol poisoning. The yellow stuff is stomach acid and bile. Usually it's green but it might have still been alcohol mixed with it. And you were lucky. Alcohol poisoning can kill you if untreated. They have to pump your stomach and in severe cases give you almost dialysis to neutralize the alcohol in your blood. Your body was able to reject most of it and get it out of your system by itself, but next time you may not be so fortunate. It sounds like no one has sat you down and told you the risks of alcohol abuse. You should take it easy and next time don't drink so much so you're not putting your liver and life on the line for a good time. Feel better.
