I really need advise on my first time drinking beer.?!

Question: I really need advise on my first time drinking beer.?
Ok so this has really been bugging me for the past few days I'm 17 and am thinking about trying beer. There's a party coming up this saturday and there's always beer at these kinds of things. Oh and i have a lot of friends that i trust there if that makes a difference. Every one of my other friends drinks. I always play it off when asked if i want a drink. I just don't really care for it i guess. My dad and uncles always drink at our family parties but told me to stay away from it. I just want to try one beer and see what it's like. It's really not that big of a deal and i'm sure i wont get caught. I'm just worried about getting addicted to it. I dont have problems or stress that would cause me to depend on it and i'm a pretty smart kid but that fear is still there. I feel like a pussy for even askin this. All my friends just do it why am i overthinking it. Help...:/.

Nothing is going to happen. People that get "addicted" to "beer" get accustomed to it. You really have to have it around you 24/7 and get into the habit of drinking it to truly become "addicted". The only problem you should have to deal with is the terrible first taste and not getting caught. Enjoy.

You won't get addicted to beer,i can assure you.The thing you should be worrying about is coming home drunk,as your most likley a lightweight because your body isn't accustomed to alcohol, take it slow..ahh who am i kidding..go wild!

Just don't do it. Quit succumbing to peer pressure. You will have plenty of time in your life to try beer once you're old enough to purchase it.

if u wana try it just drink slow dont pound them try to limit yourself to a drink a hour so you dont get stupid
