What are some good low priced drinks?!


Question: What are some good low priced drinks?
I just moved into my apartment and in the process of stocking my first bar. I have a low/medium sized budget and I'm looking for some good alternatives to the premium brands. I don't want to buy brands that scream "cheap". I also don't want to spend too much money buying the premium brands. Could you please suggest some good brands for the following?
Vodka
Rum
Whiskey
Gin
Red and White Wine
Irish Cream

Vodka: SOBIESKI POLISH VODKA [POLAND] 1.75L
Rum: Only one kind I suggest, Pyrat Rum, it's worth spending the money for this.
Whiskey: Jack Daniels, Tullamore Irish Whiskey, Jameson Irish Whiskey
Gin: Gilbeys
Red and White Wine
For pleasing the women. You need Berringer White Zinfandel, Moscato white, Merlot red wine.
Irish Cream:Baileys is the only kind I would buy.

This can set you back around $300.00 You can always just buy one bottle per week or month to build your stock, I suggest looking for bargins and then discovering what you enjoy most. One night with friends can deplete your stock real quick.

Why don't you buy the liquors and brands that you like rather than some mediocre brands of everything you think you need. It's your bar! I would never buy gin no matter what brand name.
I do like Smirnoff and Absolut vodka
Black Velvet Whiskey
and Bacardi rum.
