Question: What liquor goes with strawberries and chocolate?

I need a liquor between 80 and 100 proof for a Valentine's day dessert. The liquor will be poured into hollowed-out strawberries and set aflame; it is not necessarily for drinking. (The recipe I am using is: http://www.sprinklebakes.com/2011/01/cho… ) However, the flavor still needs to go with strawberries and chocolate. He likes rum and bourbon, but being a non-drinker, I don't know how compatible the flavors are. Neither of us like vodka. Thanks!

Hm, I was going to say some sort of flavored vodka (Pinnacle makes a whipped cream flavor, and a whipped cream and chocolate flavor.. both of those would be pretty awesome, and its reasonably priced). BUT you don't like vodka...

If you know he likes rum, just go with that. Ron Zacapa is my favorite, not too expensive and incredibly smooth.

Berry schnapps. The brand is 99.. like 99 bananas, 99 cherries etc. It's also 99 proof :) and barely tastes like alcohol. Yum yum!

use the rum used to make in pina coladas those are good and pina colada flavored helll probably love that

Vodka

You could get a flavored rum or vodka. I love this idea, btw.
