Is the hype about toxins in baby bottles real? What if you just wash with soapy water and not...?!
...boil them?
I have been reading about the toxins in plastic bottles that is released when they are boiled for sterilization. But I don't know if this is a real concern or if sterilization is the only risk. (I normally wash them just with soapy water per my doctor's instructions)

You are doing well. Never overheat any plastic, like in the dishwasher. It releases bits of the oil in the plastic. Handwashing is best
