Some people say we lose control when we're drunk, that we do not actually know what we're doing, but I don't quite believe that.

I guess it's the fact that we lose our reservations when we're drunk - we're less afraid about the consequences of our actions, so we are able to tell things that we wouldn't normally tell, and thus we sometimes accidentally reveal secrets.

You lose your inhibitions, you're less capable of thinking through your actions and you feel more confident, and you tend to not think of the consequences of your actions.

Not all people tell the truth.
