how much alcohol can a liver handle?!
how many pints or shots will you need to consume untill your liver starts struggleing to do its job properly? the thought of how much people drink these days is alot and i was just wondering can livers cope with alot?

The liver is designed to process one ounce of alcohol every hour, then it begins to be overloaded and the alcohol builds up to alcohol toxicity.
When you start feeling drunk, the liver is overloaded and not able to process all the alcohol you are putting into your body. There is no set limit since people are all sizes. A large man would be able to drink a lot more than a tiny petite woman before feeling drunk.
