Why does your pee smell so good after drinking coffee, but not with much else?!

Question: Why does your pee smell so good after drinking coffee, but not with much else?

I noticed whenever I drink Starbucks or Seven Eleven coffee in the morning that my next pee is actually quite pleasant smelling. Any other old time I guess I don't really notice much of anything. What causes this to happen?

I've never noticed pleasant smelling pee. I feel cheated.

I am always amazed at the smell of pee when I have had asparagus. Other than that I don't make a point of smelling my pee.

haha i guess our bodies are just filtering out the coffee and the smell is more potent than anything else we drink!!
