and ive also heard of mixing it with fruity juices.

Yes, clear rum and coke is fine. Put a squirt of lime in it if you want to be fancy/tropical. But yes you can also mixt clear rum with pineapple juice too. Experiment and see what you like.
I am not a fan of fruity drinks, but a lot of women/girls are, so you might like the rum and pineapple.
My own personal recipe that I made is great for going with any hard liquor.
Blend 3 strawberries, 12 ice cubes, 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 can of Sprite (or any lemon lime soda), and squeeze in some fresh or refrigerated lemon and lime juice.
You can then add whatever alcohol you would like to it and barely be able to taste it.

It is also very good without alcohol and is sweet and slightly tangy.

Yuk! Clear rum does not go with a coca cola drink! It can go with fruit juice such as OJ, Grapefruit, Mango or frozen strawberries and blend it up. It can go in a daiquiri mix. Mojito even is good. So think white rum, white liquid like 7-up or ginger ale or fruits, fruits 'cause dark rum and fruits aren't always compatible.
