I am a 23 almost 24 year old female who drinks 3 bottles of wine or any other alcohol each and every weekend with usually nothing most other days how much longer can I go on drinking this much before my liver fails and I will need a new one? Will my liver last into my thirties, forties, fifties and sixties with how much alcohol I put through it?

ASK YOUR DOCTOR AS WE CAN'T TELL YOU

The liver is a very resilient organ, and one of the most resilient components of the human body. It takes a LOT to kill a liver. Its hard to say how long any individual liver will last, but toning down the alcohol intake is always a good idea. If you kidney's fail that is way worse that a liver failure, and alcohol hurts the kidneys as well.

Nobody can tell you that. there are way too many factors, including:\

- Heredity
- Diet
- Immunity
- and dumb luck

Chances are you won't need a liver transplant before you're 30. Around 15 to 30% of heavy drinkers ever advance to later stages Cirhosses and that's with drinking heavier than yours.

That being said, why drink so much?

Too much alcohol is not good for the liver,as it will ruin the liver completely, unless you stop drinking so heavily now, the liver will repair itself, otherwise it will be to late and you will have sirossos of the liver, then you just put your head between your legs and kiss your A goodbye...seriously.....

been there, done that...

There are folks who use more than this on a regular basis, based on culture, and their heritage gives credence that your liver will last forever!
Hell, folks in Italy drink wine daily with all 3 meals and do a little active weekend drinking without physical damages to the liver.

but it wont just be your liver that goes,it will be your kidneys and brain and all the rest too,it wont be worth giving you a transplant.

3 bottles a weekend isn't that bad. I drink more than that and I'm doing fine.
