Cirrhosis is not a disease caused by bacteria or a virus that can be cured, cirrhosis is caused by a chemical reaction in the liver when alcohol is first metabolised into acetaldehyde, it's the acetaldehyde that's the start of the problem, converting healthy liver tissue into scar tissue (an irreversible process) so you have nothing to look forward to but a slow and painful lingering death if you ignore all the advice you've been given.

They have already found the cure for the type of cirrhosis you will be facing in the future which is to avoid alcohol. Doesn't get much more clear than that. Too bad you won't take the cure. The graveyards are full of people who used to think like you when they were alive. Ignore the cure and you may be joining them. Keep making fun of liver disease and acting silly. See where that gets you.

There are far more important diseases in this world to concentrate on. Besides, self indulged liver failure is the cure for alcoholism!

Cirrhosis can be prevented by not drinking, so a cure isn't a high priority.

Not in your, ALCOHOL SHORTENED, lifetime that's for sure.
