What does 'on cask' and 'cask conditioned' mean?!
i often hear these two terms refering to beer. sometimes a pub will have beer on cask, or cask conditioned beer. what does it mean? and does it improve beer flavour or something of the like.

That means the beer was finished in the cask. After the fermentation was complete it was put in the cask with either corn sugar or a small amount of unfermented beer to carbonate it and it's been aged in the cask since. I believe it does improve the beer to be served this way.
