do i need to mix the mash everyday?!
my friend is making moonshine and he says after he made the mash all the cornmeal and sugar settled to the bottom after a couple hours .. are you suposed to mix it everyday?

No, let it settle to the bottom its what we call bottom fermentation.
You should post "your friend's" home address. That would help the ATF....I mean that would help us answer your question.
I have a feeling your friend is making moonshine incorrectly. Can you post the process you are going through?
