Irish car bombs ?????!

Question: Irish car bombs ?????
I recently had some Irish Car Bombs for the first time and really liked them. I have beer and Irish cream and i was wondering if it would still be tasty to just use those 2 and skip the whiskey since i have none. I mean the cream already has whiskey in it right.... so it should still taste good???

Answers:

The key ingredient in an Irish car bomb is Guinness, you cannot interchange with other beers. The rest of the recipe is Jameson and Baileys but any irish whiskey and irish creme will do. If you have Guinness and use just irish creme you probably wont tell the difference really but the whiskey is what gives it the extra kick to getting drunk. Hope this helps.

I'd say it's not really worth it without the whiskey, but if it's all you have and you want to do some chugging, go for it. It can't hurt to try it.

Sure it might be alright. Sounds delicious actually I hate whiskey and this recipe might actually be better. Let us know how it works.

It will taste somewhat similar but it wont have the normal bite that the whiskey gives it and won't be as strong.

It would be tasty, but no where near as potent.

not sure
