how do i store bottled stout and at what temperature?!

Question: How do i store bottled stout and at what temperature?
Purchased a bottle of stout. On the label it said it must be stored at 12 centigrade, presumably somewhere dark. Where is the best place to store it ?

Answers:

It should be kept cool but not cold - a pantry if you have one, but not in the fridge. Outside in a container is probably OK but you might need to let it acclimatise a bit before drinking. Personally I keep our real ales in the cupboard in the dining room. It's fine.

Keep it in a beer fridge...
