Generally, soft cheese or pungent cheeses often are good match with the fruity beverage. Generally for Sangria, Pepper Jack fares better.

Mexican Sangria goes great with spicy food. You will find it entertaining when pairing with Tapas. Tapas provide variety of appetizers and it is good to down with Sangria.



Cheese or a dessert of some sort. Or some light/spicy dish

Paella that is spicy.
or like....fried calamari or fried fish (not like fried cod, but like 'little' fish like sardines that are fried whole would be good)
