Question: If you eat enough beer battered food would it show up on a bac test?
Just thought of this for some reason, wondering if it could affect a bac test if you eat enough beer battered food.

When it's fried, the alcohol in beer-battered food is boiled off. It boils at 178 F while most fryers cook at around 350 F. It's the same thing with cooking wine too.



The "beer" used in those types of batters are very low in alcohol and have a huge amount of sodium added to them. The alcohol is usually gone by the time the beer batter touches the food.
