Why drink it if you don't feel like drinking it?
That's kind of like eating a food you don't feel like eating.
I guess when it's food you act on your own discertion, when it's alcohol, the alcohol prevents you from making that simple choice.
I'm sorry to hear something distorts your judgments like that, without you recognizing.
Time will help you overcome this. It's natural for your body to reject things that have resulted in bad experiences for you. Try drinking new beers, one per night slowly while enjoying the aromas and flavors. If the taste is still upsetting you, wait a week before trying beer again.
Experience
You will be drinking beer again soon. It just takes some time to eliminate your aversion to it. Beer shouldn't take as long as liquor. Take it slow, and in a couple weeks you should be over it.
Adapt! Drink an alcoholic beverage that you like. For instance I love rum & coke, so I'll just bring it to wherever the party is.
Drink a different kind of beer. They all taste different.
Give it time, but who really cares anyway...no big deal!
