Your favorite vodka recipe!?!

Question: Your favorite vodka recipe!?
Suggest some of the recipes you guys like.

I like Vodka 7, Ceasars, Vodka Ice, and vodka icetea, and vodka with soda.
But these recipes are just plain and tacky.

I want something cool and refreshing, new and exciting!
Suggest something fancy are bar could make
and then suggest something simple I could make at home!
10 points to best tasting drink!

I use Smirnoff vodka the most but other are okay.
And sorry for you rum fans :P Not my style.

Also please don`t say drink it straight.... Too plain, and very dangerous...(experience from the idiot age) I will still do the occasional shots for a special occasion tho!

Answers:

Well drinking vodka straight is not dangerous as long as you know your limits and straight, ice-cold vodka is great.

I drink vodka on ice with lime cordial which makes it refreshing. You can even still taste the vodka a bit which is nice too. Also I suggest you change from Smirnoff vodka to a real vodka, from the northern Europe region. It pays to get the imported stuff. Smirnoff is for children, no offense! I even saw a toffee flavoured Smirnoff advertised once. Try Stolichnaya or Pravda.

That first dude explaining about the watermelon is right. Its fun to eat/drink and its messy goodness. Try it.

I get an empty bottle, fill it with rosy apple sweets (or candy,if your in the US),then fill the bottle with vodka, leave it 2-3 days, keep shaking the bottle, and they all dissolve, works with any sweets, but not jellies, unless you melt them first

didnt use any sites, saw this on TV a few years ago

What about a vodka watermelon. Put a hole in a watermelon, and pour in a bottle of vodka slowly over a few days.

Superb.

3 oz over ice, strain into martini glass, garnish with a rosemary sprig...

Try Chili Vodka and Coke or Cream Soda with lots of Ice.

I'm a vodka girl, but I'm also a student living on my own so the budget does not always allow for the mixing of fancy drinks. I will say however that my friends and I have come up with several of our own 'creations' which turned out well (others..not so much -_- . but they won't be mentioned here).

My favorites are simple, cheap and effective. Although, admittedly over ? the time I just do shots with chasers.

"Blue Hawaii":
2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/4 oz. Creme de Coconut
4 oz. Pineapple Juice

"Tweaker"
2 oz Vodka
2 parts Monster Energy Drink

"Sea Breeze"
2 oz Vodka
2 oz Grapefruit juice
1? oz Cranberry juice
2oz Soda water (this parts optional)

"Russian Drug Mule"
2 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Ginger Ale
2 oz. Lime Juice

"Skyscraper"

1? oz. Vodka
? oz. Blue Curacao
Lemonade

Concentrated pink lemonade (you know the kind that comes in cans in the freezer section) + Vodka is always a good choice.

Empty a medium/large sized carton of Fresh Strawberries into a bowl, Then add pure apple juice, quarter bottle of Vodka and a half of Red wine, (works Better than with white in my opinion).
Cover with lid and leave to simmer and relax for between 1- 2 hours, any more and your strawberries will become a soggy mess.
After this time, remove the lid, and take out one of the strawberries, and slowly insert into your mouth......do you feel that?
Try it out, I know you did not mention anything about fruits, but here, you have a different take on a new tipple, with the added bonus of some fruit, a winner all around.

I call it "The Strawberry mind blower", though you can rename if you want..)

This is my own original recipe and am willing to share the joys of it with you, enjoy.
