Where in the UK can I buy malt so that I can make homemade whiskey?!

Question: Where in the UK can I buy malt so that I can make homemade whiskey?
Answers:

I don't know if you have homebrewing stores in the UK but they sell malt there. If it is illegal then I would suggest not doing it.

I've heard that in the US if you buy a still then the store sometimes tells the Tobacco and Alcohol agency so I wouldn't do that.

Homebrewing store near me.

no
you can buy malt to make barley wine, beer, mash, etc

if you take that and then distill it, and then age it in wooden barrels, you would have whiskey... but that's illegal in the UK.

Please give more details as the customs and excise would love to come round and collect the duty owed!

it illegal in the uk. SO i'd wont bother...
