BS is right, your liver in particular is not yet fully developed and that's the organ most affected by alcohol.
Learn to drink sensibly as you get older and you should never have any health problems related to drink, it's a pity you don't follow your own advice Sarah, your answer is good.

at 16 it is illegal to drink. You could even be arrested or fined depending on where you live for breaking the law by drinking when you are underage. If the cops found out you or whoever is giving you the alcohol could be in trouble. Legal drinking age is 21 in most places. You are also causing damage to your vital organs such as your liver and your heart and possibly kidneys since at 16 these organs are still not fully developed. Especially if you are getting drunk each weekend. Getting drunk at 16 is bad for your health, perhaps you should find something better to do examples are go to movies, beach or hang out with your friends on the weekends. Just find an activity that is still fun but doesn't involve drinking. It doesn't take drinking to have fun trust me. You can read a nice book, go to a beach, sports club, swimming, amusement park, movie or to hang out with your friends. You can still have fun without alcohol. But you should not drink on immature, kideneys, liver and heart and at 16 these organs are still immature so drinking will cause big harm. Stop getting drunk on the weekends it's not worth to ruin your health over alcohol. You can still have tons of fun without it. You can drink all you want in another five years just wait till then ok?
It will harm your mental development. You are actually still a child. Your brain is still developing. Only a fully developed adult should drink if they choose too. These are the facts.
