Can an 18 year old buy alcohol with a pub meal for themselves and a 17 year old?!
I'm going out for a pub meal and I'm 18 years old would I be allowed to buy food and a beer or cider for both of us? Or does the other person HAVE to be 18 regardless of having a meal or of me being 18?

Yes, you will be able to do that. I believe with a meal they can be younger.
Nope, can't order alcohol, for an underaged person, In our state, 21 is the drinking age. If you buy it for an underage person, you can , and will be arrested.
It's just the law.
