There are tons of wines under $10, and you should try them yourself to determine which ones you like best.
You shouldn't let anyone tell you which wines are "good" wines. Select one from the grocery store that is <$10 (you will be able to afford many more wines at the grocery store rather than the liquor or wine store) , and if you like it, great!. If not, try a different one next time.
Don't be fooled by wine snobs, marketing or pricing. The only "good" wine is the one that pleases you.
So get tasting!
