do you think this plan might work?!

Question: Do you think this plan might work?
im not asking for any opinions about why you think this is a bad idea, i simply want opinions about if this will work or not. so, im going to cabo, mexico for spring break. the legal drinking age in mexico is 18 but i will only be 17. i just ordered a fake id saying that my 18th birthday is the second day of my vacation. i plan on going to the concierge on this day and informing them that now that i am 18, i need a new wristband so that i can drink. i will show them the fake id saying that it is my 18th birthday. i dont really see any flaws in this plan but what do you think?

Answers:

Go for it man. If you have the balls. It's not that big a deal. Worst case scenario get someone to buy it for you.

the place if you are cought the place will be shut down and the owner might go to jail
That is the Mexican law.
But those things still happen...
is like in the US it is agins the law to drink and drive but still some do...

And drunks are not that cool
in fact they are easier to rob them specially if they don′t understand the langage so go ahead risk it.
the only thing you have to loose is your money and you virginity, I mean the back door one.

cabo is nice hope you have a nice time

You do realize they have different laws in Mexico right?
If they catch you you get to see the inside of a Mexican prison for a long time.
They couldn't care LESS that you are an American, it's NOT "innocent until proven guilty" over there -- it's GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.
Go ahead with your plan.
No one here COULD CARE LESS if it works or not. Or if you go to a Mexican jail or not.
Most of us, however, have been overseas, and we know there are different rules over there than in the US.
You want to risk it, that's on you.
Have a great time.
