When the Old Milwaukee can says that it's "as good as it gets" is that actually an apology?!

Question: When the Old Milwaukee can says that it's "as good as it gets" is that actually an apology?
Are they basically saying, "Sorry that we couldn't do any better."?

Answers:

After much pondering I have come to this conclusion: light bulbs.

Never thought of looking at it in that way. Not a huge fan of Old Milwaukee, but its not completely undrinkable like some some other stuff (Old E, 2/11, Hurricane, Cobra)...

They're actually saying "haha dumba$$ you should have gone to Onopa Beer Garden...

Former Milwaukee resident and proud beer guzzler...

An apology?

Nah, I always thought of it as wishful thinking. ;-)

Good luck!... :-D

Sounds about right. All macro brewed American lagers should say the same thing as they are all crap

LOL - very clever girl, I believe you have cracked their code.

Well it was that for a slogan or "Hey, at least we're not as bad as Weidemann."
