Question: When does an open bottle of sake go bad?

I have a bottle of sake that has been opened. the sake bottle had a one time use lid. I put a paper Towel in th bottle. its been in my room for about 1 and a half month already. is it any good anymore? the sake i have is Hakutsuru Draft Sake

Don't drink it, for the future store any unfinished sake in the fridge, and use original corks/caps.

I would say it's probably not any good. If it has a resealable cap and kept cold it can last quite a long time but being left open to the air does not bode well.
