Using a fake ID in the shop ?!

You could get arrested. Also, if you manage to buy, you can actually get the clerk arrested (this actually happened to a friend's son). The law in most states does not differentiate between selling to a minor on purpose or doing it because you were deceived by a fake ID.

Don't risk yours or that stranger's future.

i work in a supermarket and have to ID people loads for alcohol and cigarettes.
when you say fake ID do you mean a fake ID youve brought off the internet? or an older friends ID youve borrowed?

you are much better off borrowing someone elses. where i work (and its not even a major store) we are trained to the max on what a fake ID off the internet looks like, eg no pass hollagram/incorrect wording) so i can spot one of them easy peasy. and i have refused people with fake IDs before. Ive not done anything about it, just been like "sorry, we can't accept this kind of ID here".

however if you borrow an older friends ID that looks reasonably like you, theres only so long i can stare at you and the picture on it trying to match you up. and i've only just met the person i'm ID'ing, i dont know their features well enough to be like "ha! thats not you!"
so as long as you're not a blonde haired girl trying to use a brown haired boys ID chances are checkout staff arent going to notice.

my advice, stay away from the dodgy fake ID's you can buy on the internet, theyre so not worth it as any shop manager who values his lisence to serve alcohol will have trained his staff in how to spot them,.

I manage a shop, and if you're worried and asking that question here, then any clerk minimally capable will spot you walking in the door. You wouldn't get a chance to get to the counter...

They might take it and conviscate it from you because it's fake. They might threaten to call the police. Or they might just refuse to serve you anything with fake ID.

Nothing mate i have one all they do is say 'I'm not convinced or something'..
