I'm an Atheist so shouldn't I be allowed to buy liquor on Sunday?!

Question: I'm an Atheist so shouldn't I be allowed to buy liquor on Sunday?
And how about Jewish people, or the many other religions who don't consider Sunday to be a holy day...shouldn't they be allowed to buy liqour on Sundays?

Answers:

Either we live in the same state or this goes on in places outside New England.
If you don't know enough to stock up before the stores close Saturday night you're probably drinking way more than you should anyway.

in a country where (supposedly) the laws are set for the majority of the people, in this case the majority want liquor sales to be reduced or eliminated on their holy day. You can always write to your legislators to voice your opinion.

Liquor and beer stores are open here on Sundays (albeit reduced hours, they are a government agency after all). I guess it depends where you live.

omg lmao.
Sunday is just a freaking DAY of the WEEK. get over it. it's no different from any other day. they all run the same time. seconds, minutes, hours, you name it.

Wait a few million years and the Blue Laws may disappear. Until then, learn to plan your shopping.
