alcohol % value for money?!

Question: Alcohol % value for money?
so im buying a lot of alcohol in bulk and to help me save money i need to try and work out how much vodka(37.5%) is in a can of smirnoff and cola. The cans are 250ml and 6.4vol. if anyone has an equation or can work it out?thanks for you answers in advance.

Answers:

There is a formula :)

number of units = [volume (ml) * alcohol content by volume (%/ml)]/1000 (scale factor)

hence you have n = 250*6.4/1000 = 6.4/4 = 1.6 meaning there is 1.6 units per can. If you're looking to buy in bulk you could well be better buying them separately in bulk and mix them when it comes to drinking unless this is impractical
