Did you ever insult someone because of the beer they ordered?!
Answers:
No.......but once they try to tell me how "tasty" their crap they call beer is I may laugh at them.
*To be honest, the first beer I had was Schmidt's. Then moved on to Miller. It was all I knew, and it was "beer". Even LOOKING at all of the craft beers for the first time was intimidating. My boyfriend and I both decided to start exploring REAL beer and went to a few tastings and beerfests. This way, you can find out what kind of brew you DO like without having to buy a 6 pack and possibly wasting it :-/ I suggest EVERYONE go to a tasting or beefest if you're looking to expand your horizons in the brew bidness.
I have but I do wait until the other person is out of sight. It's not nice to mock them when they're right in front of you. You wouldn't like if someone blatantly made fun of you in front of your face because your are inexperienced. Everyone has to start somewhere.
I bag groceries at a grocery store & always laugh to myself when people buy "Blue Ribbon" because stereotypically they're broke redneck type people.
Get a life! You know who I enjoy making fun of? Lametards who somehow think they have one up on others as they spend their lonely lives in a bar every night.
no
I enjoy good craft beers as well but I can't say that I enjoy making fun of other's who don't have as broad of taste. I make fun of BARs that claim to have a large/great beer selection that only carry the aforementioned brews.
Making fun of them/getting into 'scuffles' isn't really going to encourage other's to get into the craft beer scene which is what I'd RATHER do.
The only ppl that I would make fun of for the beer they drink would be anyone that I see drinking a stella artois ------ if they get it in a pint glass it's alittle harder for me unless I hear them ordering....but if they have it in that stella glass.....OMG it's infuriating. =)
