Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?!

Question: Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?
Answers:

A light in the freezer would raise the temperature too much and it would burn out being frozen most of the time anyway

Because you bought a cheaper fridge/freezer.

There's a light in my freezer because it's frost-free and that costs more money than a freezer with just a bigger compressor. All that humidity and frost will cover and damage/destroy a light fixture, so the other option is to put a humidity resistant light in, which would cost money. If you're buying the older style freezer, you're probably trying to save money so they cut the cost by eliminating the light.

You must have an older model-even inexpensive new ones have a light in the freezer compartment.

Some freezers have them side by sides mostly I dint think there us a reason for them not to

...because you own a cheap fridge !

my freezer has a light in it
