why some wine have expiration date :P :|?? Isn't the longer it's reserved, and better it tastes?!
Answers:
Wine only gets better with age IN the oak barrels. Once it's out the aging stops. If the wine isn't drunk soon enough it turns into vinegar, and not like a red wine vinegar, it turns into a positively vile vinegar. Grain alcohols on the other hand don't turn into vinegar
For certain well made wines, that can be true, however, cheap wines, like the kind most of us can afford, will turn to vinegar after a certain amount of time.
I have never noticed an expiration date on a label but it is true that although some wines get better with age most do not and should be drunk young.
