I'll echo what has been said by others: lots of water. Be careful of taking medications, though, as your liver is already being worked.

In the morning you may want to have a heavy breakfast with eggs, bacon and hash browns. I find greasy food is comforting with a hangover.

Plenty of "research" in the consumption of distilled beverages.

Like everyone says, drink lots of water. Don't take paracetamol before bed because the pain relieving effects would have worn off before you wake up so damages your liver without you feeling the benefits. Instead take them when you wake up. Don't eat before bed because this soaks up the alcohol and keeps it in your stomach for longer. Don't drink caffeine, it has no effect on alcohol.

But how to make yourself feel better - i wouldn't bother, if its been a good night just go to bed.

Degree module which includes alcohol and its effects

Lots of water, and take a couple of paracetamol before you go to bed & then the same thing again in the morning usually helps me out. If you've got something like gatorade to drink even better.

lots of experience

eat some bread and drink LOTS of water to avoid dehydration because thats the reason you get head aches the next day

Drink a beer and eat some KFC.
